TOOELE, UT, May 26, 2019 – Sarah Burgess headed to Ensenada Mexico unveiling the new Axalta Racing paint scheme for round 3 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series 5th Annual Rockstar Energy Battle South of the Border Presented by Lucas Oil.
Qualifying kicked off Saturday morning and Sarah’s first laps were a wild ride in the Axalta Racing Prolite, and then only to be hampered by a slower driver on the racing line, placing her 9th on the grid.
The green flag dropped and the prolite field roared through the start line at the Estero Beach Resort track, with the Axalta Racing Prolite colors standing out from the field.
There was plenty of contact throughout the race with Sarah getting shuffled back to 11th place at one point during the race. However, Sarah and the Axalta Racing Prolite pushed on to finish 7th.
Sarah Burgess will be in the Axalta Racing colors for Round 5 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series at the end of June. **Due to the devastating storm that severely damaged Lucas Oil Speedway, round 5 & 6 will be held at a different facility with the announcement coming soon from LOORRS
